Request deletion of your InsiQuest account

You may request permanent deletion of your InsiQuest account and the surveys, responses, respondent records, workspace settings, and other data associated with it.

How to delete your account

Email us from the email address associated with your InsiQuest account so that we can identify and verify the account owner.

For security, we may need to verify that the request is coming from the account owner before deleting account data.

What to include

When requesting deletion by email, include enough information for us to identify your account.

  • Your InsiQuest account email address
  • Your name
  • Your organization or workspace name, if available
  • A clear request to permanently delete the account

Data scheduled for deletion

Deleting an account may permanently delete or make inaccessible:

  • Account and profile information
  • Organization name, logo, and workspace branding
  • Surveys and survey configurations
  • Survey questions, answer choices, and templates
  • Public survey links and QR-code records
  • Survey responses and submitted response data
  • Files uploaded through surveys or responses
  • Respondent contact records and profiles
  • Respondent response history
  • Contact notes, tags, activities, and statuses
  • Follow-up reminders and follow-up history
  • Survey analytics and interaction records
  • Registered notification devices and tokens
  • Uploaded workspace images and related files
Deleting the workspace may also remove survey responses and respondent records belonging to that workspace. Export any information you need before confirming deletion.

Information that may be retained

Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, tax, payment, dispute-resolution, or legitimate recordkeeping purposes.

  • Payment and transaction records required for accounting
  • Subscription and refund records
  • Security, abuse-prevention, and fraud-investigation records
  • Records required to resolve disputes or legal claims
  • Information contained temporarily in system backups
Retained information will be limited to what is reasonably necessary and kept only for the applicable retention period.

Processing time

Account-deletion requests are generally processed after the account owner has been verified. Most verified requests are completed within 30 days.

Some deleted information may remain temporarily in encrypted backups before being removed through the normal backup cycle.
